Drive belt

Yesterday drive belt started to make a screeching sound. I need a new belt can I drive for another two days? That is when I will have the money to repair it.

The noise is the belt slipping, the belt tension-er may also be failing. You do run the risk of breaking the belt and being stranded on the side of the road. So if you must drive, keep the trips to a minimum and get the belt replaced ASAP and get the tension-er checked as well.
