1999 Dodge Viper plastic part fell in engine
1999 Dodge Viper
I was working on my crank case breather and a 3/8 plastic barbed fitting fell into my engine. It fell through on top of the cam right near the front in the center of the valley.
I can't see it with a flashlight
will this cause any problems for my engine or will the plastic just end up in the oil pan?
thanks in advance

on a viper it might. if that plastic found its way on top of a lifter and caused the lifter to apply to soon or release too late you may cause a valve to go through a piston
