I just replaced the intake plenum gasket to get rid of a lean left bank code. Now I am getting a P0320 code , how do I test the crank position sensor , and the cam shaft position sensor ( distributor ) . I have fuel pressure and spark , just not at the correct time.

If you have spark, the camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor are working. When pulses are recieved from those sensors, the Engine Computer turns on the Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay which sends power to the injectors, coil, oxygen sensor heaters and fuel pump or pump relay. Is it possible the code was set earlier and not erased?
