misfiring

I have a 1998 Dodge truck with a V8 5.2 liter Automatic Transmission 150,000 miles. The problem is when i accelerate it delays in shifting check engine light comes on and says two cylinders misfiring did tune up replaced spark plugs and wires. its still doing the same thing would the misfiring cause the delaying in shifting or do i have other problems.

injectors will cause a misfire
and check the coil
