I have a 97 dodge truck that had a big miss when it is first started. I cleaned the carb with cleaner and droped the fuel tank and cleaned the tank up (plastic). Put all back togather and the truck runs 100% better but still has a miss for fisrt say 10 min of driving. The truck has sat for a year or so because of bad fuel I thought

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
