2005 Dodge Truck battery affect truck computer

My truck for some reason would not start. Everytime I tried to turn it on I hear a clicking noise, im guessing its the alternater, but all the icon lights on the dash is blinking crazy. It continues after I remove the key, then it shuts off after a couple of minutes what should I do? Change the battery? Is my computer shutting down? Please respond.

Hi there,

start with checking all the battery terminals and cables are clean and tight, check earth points are tight, this sounds like a low voltage problem, start here, and if that is OK, get the battery load tested and the alt charge rate checked.
