We rolled our truck over during some rough 4 wheeling in the dirt, after getting it off its side and back on its 4 wheels it started right up and smoked a bunch at first and then stopped smoking but went to starving for fuel and then died not to be started again. If you crack the butterflies open and spray carb cleaner or poor a tiny bit of gas in there it starts right up so the engine isnt getting fuel, does this Dodge have a safety that disarms the fuel pump or what do you think happened?

Sounds like a fuel pump or injector wiring problem. The pump receives power from the Automatic Shutdown relay which is turned on by the Engine Computer when it sees engine rotation. The ASD relay also sends power to the coil and injectors, so you know it's working if you have spark.

Besides turning on during engine rotation, the ASD relay turns on for one second when the ignition switch is turned on. You should be able to hear the pump run for that one second, but you might have to listen by the tank while a helper turns on the ignition switch.
