I have a 95 Dodge 1500. Its been sitting for a while. I used to go out and start it up every week or so. But I took two vacation trips about back to back and it sat for a couple months. Not a good idea, I know. Now it wont start. Only the dash light come on. Other then that the truck seems to be completely dead. There is no noise coming from the engine whatsoever. Battery tested fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Double check the battery condition by load testing it and check connections then go from there

Thanks for the idea. It ended up being a faulty alarm. I guess it has a starter kill switch on it and when the alarm had malfunctioned it has blocked the starter from engaging. I fixed the alarm and the truck fired right up. Wonder what a dishonest mechanic would have charged me to "fix" the starter
