1992 Dodge Shadow Oil leak and smokey motor
Engine Performance problem
1992 Dodge Shadow 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 150000 miles
I drove my car about a mile to the store to put oil in it , because , well it didnt have oil in it.
The motor started smokeing.
I immeditatly put oil in it and when I drove it home.
It stoped smokeing but I want to know if maybe I screwed up the motor

Hi there,
If you run the engine without oil you do run the chance of doing serious damage, what i would do is have and engine flush done and replace the filter as well, wash the engine down and check where the oil leaks are coming from and get then attended to, hopefully you have not done to much harm, but only time will tell.
