Engine Cooling problem
2004 Dodge Ram V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the air conditioner stopped working. Then the truck started over heating so we changed the thermastate and it still is over heating. There is still presser on the hoses comimg from the water pump could the pump still be bad? Now there is a ticking noise coming from the engine. Could it have messed up the heads? Or could I have a stuck valve?

Have you had the radiator flushed? Does it overheat at any time or just in town traffic? Also, make sure one of the radiator hoses isn't collapsing when it gets hot.

Let me know what you find.
