While driving sometimes not all the time, the battery gauge will go to H and the check gauges light will comeon, if I park the truck, shut it off and turn it back on, everythings fine. But its not every time or every day just off and on

It sounds like the voltage regulator (part of the alternator) is going bad and allowing the alt to over charge. Have it checked at a parts store. Most will do it for free while you wait, and the usually is no charge.
