1994 Dodge Ram misfiring/rough idle

I changed the spark plugs and still the engine is misfiring and wont accelerate. the engine cranks on the first attempt so its not the timing. bad fuel or wires?

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked the catylatic converter to make sure it isn't plugging. Listen for hissing or ratteling sounds from that area.

Let me know what you find.

converter good, changed distributor cap,rotor now no fire

The cap and rotor shouldn't have caused no fire. Are you getting power to the coil?

I checked the coil, no fire. or coil wire not at a good ground location. Ill check it again. I heve no sensor flash codes showing up. fuel pump's working/plug's are saturated. thought maybe water in fuel, but found no water beeds pure gas. cam sensor?

It could be the crank or cam sensor.
