Loosen the brake reservoir cap to release the pressure. Front brakes are relatively easy using a c clamp is the best way by putting the c clamp in place on the piston with the brake pad in place so no damage will occur to the piston then place the other part of the c clamp on the back of the caliper and tighten. If no c clamp remove the new pads and replace them with the old ones and reinstall the caliper and use a large screw driver in between the pad and the rotor and gently pull forcing the piston back into the caliper. If it is the rear then before removing the shoes(if pads then the same goes as the front calipers.) Just gently push on both sides of the shoes with equal pressure and the pistons will go back into the housing. Be aware that when you do this fluid will leak out of the master cylinder and you may have to remove some of the fluid to get it back to the full line. Do this with paper towel dipped in the master cyl. Remember to wash down the mater vyl area with water as brake fluid will eat the paint if left on it. Hope this helps MORT
