My son took my car and was jumping tracks with it. When it bottomed out the front end pushed into the radiator. This shoved the line going into the transmission from the cooling system forward and the fitting broke where it goes in. The radiator does not leak but the tranny fluid does. I was told by a garage the tranny is fine but I have to get a new radiator when I get the front end pulled back out. Cant I replace just the line or fitting instead of a whole new radiator?

I looked at a parts book, for your radiator. It showed a downflow radiator, plastic tanks top and bottom. If the fitting mounted in the plastic is busted, you may need to look for a another radiator, salvage yard, if you don't want a new one.

If it is just the fitting on the line, you should be able to replace that. You might have a radiator shop look at it.
