2000 Dodge Neon Oil Light

I have a 2000 Dodge Neon with 97k, and for the last week, the oil light constantly comes on and off, I've checked the oil level everyday after driving and once it has been sitting awhile. And the level is fine. What could my problem be and is it safe to drive the car?

Hi there,

Best to get the oil pressure tested with a master gauge. This will give a true indication as to the engine oil pressure, hopefully it will be a faulty pressure sensor. But get the pressure tested first. If there are no unusual noises get the test done asap.
