Noises problem
1999 Dodge Intrepid Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 136600 miles

I just bought a 99 dodge intrepid yesterday and after driving for a while I noticed that when I turn the steering wheel to the right, even very slightly, I hear a rubbing but sqeeky kindof noise. We checked the power steering fluid and it was fine. I know a LITTLE bit about cars to know that could have been one of the problems but now I am baffled. The only other thing is that the brake light is on. Its an idicator for the E-brake or for something with the master cylinder.

You are going to think I am a complete nut. But change the powersteering fluid with new stuff. I had a squeek (98 Intrepid) when I was going slow in a parking lot. Whenever I turned the wheel either way, I heard a squeeking noise like a rod turning in a rubber bushing. Changed the fluid and the noise is gone.
