I have a coolant leak coming from a weep hole located on the engine block next to the thermostat housing and the housing for the water pump hose and the radiator hose. Why did this happen and how can I repair it

Hello,

Leaking coolant from the water pump weep hole is a sign that an internal seal on the water pump has failed.
When this happens you will have to replace the water pump.

Remember to only work on the cooling system when the engine is cool.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
