How do I replace an alternator on a 1999 Dodge Intrepid?

Hi:
I recommend that you purchase a manual that provides stsp by step instructions, and provides pictures to identify parts. If you can't get one, I hope this helps. Keep in mind, I'm not there to see everything you see, so I will give you a general procedure to follow.

1) Disconnect battery
2) Remove the alt drive belt
3) Remove (3?) Bolts holding alt
4) Remove alt
Reverse the order to replace the new one.
