Hi:
Does this only happen in cold weather? Is the check engine light on? Have you had you fuel pressure tested in the cold temps?

Yes it is only in the cold weather, the check engine light is not on, and I have not had the fuel pressure checked.

Hi:
If the light isn't on, I would start by checking fuel pressure in the cold conditions. The pump could be getting older and not like the temps. You could do this yourself. Most nationally recognized parts stores will lend or rent the gauge and it hooks to the fuel rail.

Let me know what you find.

Hi:
Exact location, no, but it should be on the fuel rail. I believe there will be a cap on it.

What exact engine do you have and I'll see what I can dig up for you.

Hi:
I looked several places and can't find a picture for you. However, there is a site here that may help you identify what you need and it explains how to check pressure. Go to:

https://www.2carpros.com/dia/test_fuel_pressure.htm

Let me know if this helps you.
