A COUPLE DAYS AGO MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS FLASHING ON AND OFF. I WAS GOIB=NG TO TAKE IT TO A SHOP SATURDAY BUT NOW THE FLASHING HAS STOPPED. COULD THERE STILL BE A CODE TO READ? WHAT ARE SOME POSSIBLITIES?
THANKS, DAVE

Flashing light means damage is being done to the converter. Need to pull the codes and see what is in there. May be an excessively rich condition caused by a bad o2 sensor, coolant temp sensor, bad fuel pressure regulator among others.

There are quite a bit of possiblities that may have caused that to happen, take it in and have it read.
