will not start reverse light in inst cluster on when in park. Had trans selecter switch replaced still same problem please help

The TCM still believes the car is in reverse. You may possibly replaced the wrong switch maybe one is NSS and other is PRNDL. That or valve body has a problem
where it contacts. Or pull off the cable of the trans manual lever and feel it to make sure it is feeling Park Rev. N DD D. Or wiring or connector. I am sorry I can't help more without being in that bad position. Bad TCM is a long shot. Never saw that in hundreds but maybe.
