This car ran fine, had to replace the fuel pump, then couple weeks later the heater display would be blank and it would just turn the blower fan on. When this happened the airbag light would be on. Restart the car and sometimes it would go back to normal. Now the power windows are not functioning, the airbag light is on steady and the heater display doesn't work. Dealership said it is just the ignition switch. All the fuses are fine and they outright refuse to test the BCM prior to replacing the ignition switch. Can a bad ignition switch cause all these problems?

Yes, it sure could. They changed to a different column than the Saginaw which wasn't great, but had a differently designed key switch. If no power at times, the readout could be false or none, so it could be a mistake costing more, so one thing at a time, after switch, then it can be properly read and reset. I am sure they want it fixed and out. OK Joe
