2002 Dodge Durango 4X4 switch

My Durango is stuck in four-wheel drive and will not release using the selector switch. Is there a way to bypass the switch to disengage it?

The switch can't be bypassed. Chances are the actuator on the transfer case is the problem. Check to see if you are getting power to the actuator itself. If you are, that is most likely the problem.
