Chokes, sputters, barely moves when cold. But when eng. Warms, it seem to run ok. Dealer says o2 sensor, and misses on #1 and #3 cyl. Would replacing o2 sensor cure these problems?

Hi:
The O2 sensor---sensor to provide exhaust oxygen content signal to the ECM. If it is bad, it could cause this type of problem. It could also have an adverse affect on MPG.

Suggestion: Stop at a nationally recognized auto parts store and have them scan the computer. (Most places like Auto Zone, Advance.) Will scan it for free. Let them tell you what codes are stored in the computer and what they mean. If it's an O2 sensor, it really easy to replace.

Let me know what you find or if you have any additional questions.
Joe
