I have spark and fuel only when I attach a hot wire from the battery to the coil. Truck will start then. I have replaced the ASD Relay and it has power. Is the PCM bad? How would I test it to see?

At the ASD relay socket with dark blue wire turn ignition On do you have power on it? If so check the continuity between the dark blue/yellow at the ASD relay socket wire all the way to the computer pin#58 K19 dark blue and yellow do you have continuity if so the computer controlled of the ASD relay is defective

So, I did a continuity check on the wiring to the computer and found the pins to be slightly corroded. They were not bad by any means, but they did not look clean either. Coninuity was fine so next I tested the ASD Relay I got to see if I got a dud. I used a jumper at 30 and 87 at the relay and the truck started. I figured at that point that either the relay is bad (unlikely since it was new) or the computer was bad. I put the relay back in and for kicks and giggles, I tried to start the truck, and it started and now runs like a top. My guess is there were connectivity issues at the computer. There was no evidence of conductive grease like the manual said, so perhaps I need to get some but other then that, its ok now. Just thought I would share. Thanks for all your suggestions, and help. Cars are so weird.
