ok...so here's the deal. i drove my trusty van to work last summer. drove fine, went on break, started and again drove fine. when i went to leave work 2 hours later, the van failed to start. it "cranks" like it is going to however, it never fully turns over. yes...before you ask, it does have gas. also, about 10 months prior to this happening, the drivers side passenger door failed. it was opened to load up before a trip, after closing, failed to reopen again and the windsheild wiper resevior does not work.

had the van towed to a shop...after a week of "looking" for the problem, nothing was found, no codes were pulled and the van still does not start. had to have it towed home where it sits in my driveway.

we were told to check the body control module? the fuel pump seems to be working as you can hear it run and smell the fuel when you try to start it.

at my wits end and would appreciate any insight anyone has to offer!!!

always post the type of motor. if you smell gas it could be a leak and is getting too much air. there was a recall on some motors about a fuel-rail leak on the non flex-fuel modles. most 3.3 motors with the flex=fuel option, which were about 68% of them were not part of this recall but ya never know. it could be weak spark also!
