2003 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Yes, my steering wheel got stuck. I don't know if this was by the lock/key malfunction but this happened twice before. Took me long time to unlock the steering and start the engine. I plunged the key in and out and attempted to turn it back and forth but to no avail. Seems like the key cylinder is stuck or the key itself is worn out that I can't turn the key now. I cannot start the car now o matter what I do.

What is the best thing to do now?

Ok have you made sure that the steering isn't putting pressure on the lock so it won't turn? It sound like it might be a lock cylinder problem otherwise. I would check to see if the steering isn't putting pressure on it first though. See if you park you car and the wheel is turned you turn it off and pull out your key and the steering goes to staighten out some and locks right, well now there is lots of pressure on the lock and you need to try to turn the wheel to release the pressure allowing you to turn the key. Let me know what you find ok.

I was sure there's no pressure on the lock applied by the steering wheel because I could still turn the wheel as far as the point it does'nt get locked. Could it be a lock cylinder problem?

Yes it could be that was why I wanted to know if the steering wheel was putting pressure on it. That would be where I would go next.
