Electrical problem
1997 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 159OOO miles

My van was runing last night, and this morning it did nothing
. I thought it was the battery, and got a new one but the van does nothing it has no power at all. No lights completly dead. Thank you

Could be several things but first of all I would try is check all of the main fuses (skinny long box) near the battery. And if all are good then I would check your battery cables for dirty or sometimes on those little thin ones I have seen them crack and not get a good connection and third of all check and see if someone has repaired your battery connecters where the wires go into the clamps for the battery if they have a bolt and nut squeezing the wire to the clamp then clean that area also and replace it with original equiptment as soon as you can. Sorry so long winded but those few things are pretty important to check.
