If your just replacing the oil pan gasket, a 3, 0L is a 1.3 hour job and the rest are about an hour. Plus the gasket, an oil filter and oil for parts. An oil leak always blows back against the exhaust as you drive down the road, that may be the smell. So you need to call around to find as local hourly labor price, ok. I think an hour and a half is more like it. But thats book times.
