1997 Dodge Caravan changed fuel filter

Engine Performance problem
1997 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Automatic

My vehicle will start up and idol. As soon as I push gas pedel down more then half way it stales. I change fuel filter hoping that was my problem. It ran good for about 10 minnutes now it back to doing the same thing.

Are there any codes? Can you tell if the system is going rich or lean? Is the fuel pressure ok?

How would you be able to know what the code is? Could it mean water in the tank?

To check codes on your vehicle, you may need an obd11 code reader. Some national brand autostores will check some codes for free.

It could be almost anything, right now, it seems like the system is going lean when you open the throttle. Can you check fuel pressure?
