Tried to start motor, it would not start. I changed the fuel pump relay, you could hear the fuel pump run, tried to start engine with success, then the motor died, turned off key then turned the key back on, couldn't hear the fuel pump run, motor wouldn't start. I left the key on could hear a humming noise in the dash (virbraiting). The relay and fuses are good. Can you explain what my problem is and does the noise in the dash have anything to do with the fuel system.

There is another relay called a asd relay which powers up the fuel pump relay and the engine components. The auto shut down relay is quite possibly your problem. I always replace the fuel pump relay and asd relay together because they are both so common. Hope this helps

Ok so you will need to check for fuel pressure first so it can be determined if the fuel pump is good or not. If you are up to trying a couple of tests I help you figure that out. Get back to me with what you would like to do.
