I have a 2007 Dodge Caliber with just under 30,000 miles on it. The other day the check engine light came on.
I went to Autozone and the said it was a P0008 which is engine position system performance (bank 1) ? At least thats what came up with a google search. I posted a question on yahoo answers and one guy suggested letting the tank run down near empty, adding injector cleaner and then letting it run down a little more fill up the tank and adding another bottle of injector cleaner then disconnect the battery to clear code. I did all this but the engine light is still on. Anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

The vehicle is still under 100% emission warranty. Any sensor that can cause an emission problem will be covered. Take it to a dealer and they will need to fix it for free.

Let me know what they find.
