Hi,

The code is specific. It means that the switch that lets the ECU know the TCC (torque converter clutch) is no longer engaged and is not responding properly.

This specific model Honda is not offered in the US, so I have no diagnostics specific to your vehicle. I can tell you that the problem is likely a wiring issue or the switch itself has failed.

Let me know if this helps answer your question or if you have others.

Take care,

Joe

Hi.

I can't be 100% sure about your vehicle because it isn't offered here. The Honda Fit is (I believe) similar.

On the Honda Fit, transmission shift solenoid valve D is turned on by the PCM, shift solenoid valve D pressure switches the lock-up shift valve lock-up on and off. The A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A and the lock-up control valve control the amount of lock-up.

If you look at pic 1 below, that shows an external connection made to the shift solenoid A. You need to drain the fluid and remove the shift solenoid cover to access them. If you look at pic 2, it indicates where the solenoids are located once you access them.

Please keep in mind. This info is for the Honda Fit and not your model. Although I believe they are similar, I have no way to confirm it. I wanted to add this info so you had an idea as to what you may be getting into.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
