Before I had a new clutch installed I'm told the cruise control worked. Since I have had possession of the car only the cruise control dash light comes on. I've tried different speeds, holding it differently, wiggling the stalk. When I research the issue I only see fuse or broken wires inside the steering column as solutions, but they also don't have a working cruise dash light. I'm assuming this means I have a different problem.

The light could still come on and there be a problem in the wiring after the light. Tell me, does the speedo work correctly? Are the brake lights staying on?

Do the brake lights turn off normally? It they stay on it will prevent the CC from working. Also, are you following these directions to actuate it?

Button to switch it on, flick lever down to activate. You must be going around 40mph too. Also, the clutch as well as the brake will turn it off. From what I remember, the switch is very touchy. Make sure you are not pulling back on it when you flick it down to activate it.

Let me know.

The brake lights work properly. I did follow the proper sequence. I had a Scion tC that had a similar actuator so I have experience with this type.

I appreciate your help in narrowing down the possibilities!
