Location on the b350 was on the back of the motor on top of transmission but not see it and really not sure of the part number so look one on Mopar part and came with this number 4727336AB PC73. I'm lost here to say the least not much of a Mopar guy worked very few of them.

That part number comes up for a 1997 Caravan CKP sensor.

So, a couple of questions are if this is a B350 or which van is this? I think you were saying you looked in the same place for this CKP sensor as the B350 but didn't see it?

I am including the info from the manual on the 5.9L which puts this CKP as part of the distributor. It is called the Hall Effect
Pick up.

So, I am attaching the info on this from the manual. Let me know what other questions you have about this, and we can go from there.

Thanks

Thanks Kenny. Yes, that's right about the part number because Mopar no longer makes the one for the one ton van they say that part is the same one that was in 1989. I'm really not sure that's why I was looking for someone that had one of these beast in there shop I plan on getting under it today to look it over some time they in the middle of the block but low to pick up the crankshaft and sometimes even under the starter. I've been told when find one or not I will reply back we did buy new distributor for and still no spark.

Understood. I am sorry. I meant to ask you to send your VIN and I will look up what the part number is for your vehicle.

It is possible they are the same but not likely. So, I can look it up and see what we list.

Kenny, you were spot on. It was inside the distributor. So, I finished tracing the wiring hunt a short and could not find any problems in the wiring, so I think probably a bad PCM. If you don't mind would give me any idea what I'm missing here, I've tried to see if relays were the problem, but all were fine. Lost in Oklahoma.

We can definitely dig into what the issue is with the vehicle. However, we are going to have get a new post started on that because this was about the CKP sensor and others will not find the issue with the vehicle under this post.

Not only are we here to assist you but when you solve your issue, you will help all those that view it in the future.

So that means we need to keep each post to the same topic.

Plus, we are not sure what the issue is with the vehicle. I assume it is not starting so let's get a new post started with all the details about what is happening, and we will help figure this out.

Thanks, and sorry for any inconvenience.
