Switched fuel pump relay fuse with AC fuse car started. Bought new fuse and replaced worked fine for awhile, now same problem. Switched fuses around and still will not start.

Good afternoon.

This means you either have a fuel pump drawing too much current or a wiring issue causing a short in the harness at times.

Has anyone looked at the harness?

Last year I had a short then found the short and fixed it the dealership had my car for three weeks. I think buying a new wire harness may have been cheaper but I am getting these codes p012.9, p062.7, po68.8, p052.2. I was a quart low on oil and replaced it. It still cranks but will not start.

Okay, is the fuse still blowing?

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the key on?

Yes, I can hear fuel pump not sure if the fuses blew. I switched the AC and other one back and forth since they are the same size fuse. One of them is a brand new fuse I just bought.

Okay, need to check for spark.

When you crank it, does the tachometer move up a little on the dash? That will tell us if the crank sensor is sending a signal to the PCM.
