Was running a little rough plus the heater would get cool from time to time and would overheat when I would really get on the accelerator. Coolant would fill the over flow tank and leak out the hose. So I changed the thermostat, drained and replaced the coolant. I replaced the spark plugs, spark plug tube seals and valve cover gaskets. Went to drain the oil and had some coolant come out before I seen oil drain out. I have not ran the engine since I found coolant when draining the oil. Before this over heating problem the car ran great and is in excellent condition. The engine is supercharged. Any help would be awesome. Thanks

Pressure check coolant system with a pressure checker for a blown head gasket. There is also a chemical additive that detect head gasket problem, but it sounds like that is the problem.

Can I just do the pressure check or do I need the additive also?

You can either one you want if one doesn't show any thing then the other will it can also be a broken cooler line in radiator for transmission or if you have an oil cooler in radiator it could be that as well.
