I took the control arms off the rear of my car and not sure what way they go back on. Can you help?

Hi,

When you say the rear control arms, I assume you are talking about the trailing arms. Your vehicle doesn't have rear control arms. It may seem silly if this is what you are talking about but I just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing.

IF this is not correct, please send me a picture of what you are referring too.

If this is, take a look at the photo and you will see little tabs (highlighted) that need to face inward and are toward the front of the vehicle.

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks

I think those are called Watts Links. There is an upper and lower. However, the longer should be the one going to the passenger side of the vehicle. The shorter should go to the driver side. They attach to number 9 in the attachment below.

I just looked up the parts on a parts website and they list them incorrectly. They list the final picture below as the Watts Link and then these two links as control arms. Unfortunately, that is incorrect. The last picture is called the bell crank and these links are the Watts Links.

Let me know if you need more info. Thanks.

I don't think it will fit the opposite way. They won't line up from what I remember. So I just looked at it again and I think I read the parts website wrong. It is saying the rear left which would be the driver side, is the longer one.

Looking at the diagram, this appears to be correct as well. Sorry. Maybe I was just tired last night but not sure how I reversed those.
