Replaced clutch position switch and vehicle would not start when pushing in clutch

Bypassed switch to start engine. Now the bracket that holds clutch and brake pedals under dash that goes into the body is missing the bushing. The clutch pedals moves left and right. I have been to several parts stores, but they don't know what bushings goes there. What is this bushing called and how do you replace it?

Hi,

Here are the directions for removal and replacement of the clutch pedal. However, I'm not sure what bushing you are referring to. Take a look through these directions and the attached pics and let me know if you see the bushings you are referring to or where they are located. The only thing I can think of are support tabs that are on the mount that may be broken or bent.

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the master cylinder rod from the clutch pedal.

2. Remove the clutch pedal from the support by depressing the side tabs.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the clutch pedal into the support.

2. Secure the master cylinder rod to the clutch pedal.
