Groaning when I turn

1998 Dodge Caravan 106,000 miles. Van makes a groaning noise that I can also feel when I turn. It is worse when I make right hand turns. Car makes the noise but I can't "feel" it when I make a right hand turn. But when I turn left the emergency brake light comes on until I finish the turn. Then it goes back off. What is the problem? Is it connected to the brakes at all?

First change the stabilizer links on the front of the vehicle.

Second, the emergency brake cable may need tightening /lubrication.

DO NOT LUBRICATE THE INSIDE OF THE DRUM BRAKES
