Engine Performance problem
1999 Chrysler Town and Country 6 cyl

WE ARE TRYING TO CHANGE THE SPARK PLUGS IN OUR VAN. THE FRONT 3 WERE NO PROBLEM-WE CHANGED THEM AND PUT NEW PLUG WIRES ON. THE BACK 3-THAT'S THE QUESTION. HOW IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO THE 3 BACK PLUGS. I CALLED A MECHANIC AND THEY WANT $150.00 TO PUT IT ON A RACK AND DO THEM! I DON'T HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY. MY HUSBAND IS OUT OF WORK AND I HAD MAJOR SURGERY 5 WEEKS AGO (BRAIN TUMOR REMOVED). THE VAN IS SPUTTERING AND DOESN'T WANT TO RUN RIGHT SO IF YOU CAN BE OF ANY HELP WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT.
THANK YOU

Vickie:
The only suggestion I have is to raise the front of the vehicle on ramps or jack it up and carefully place it on jack stands. Then you will be able to reach them from under the car. From the top is almost impossible.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Joe
