Check engine light came on said all plugs were misfiriring, but car still drove only jerking a little bit. Changed all plugs and wires adn O2 sensor and problem briefly stopped. Now, it has started again and machine says its the new plugs and wires that are all fouled. That's not possible, it just jerks sometimes like the engine would like to stop, but it doesn't. Any suggestions?

My 2000 Jx at 160k mi.S did the same thing, and a shop found that my egr valve was working but leaking, and the the main culprit was the small gear on the bottom end of my distributor was worn out. Bottom line, a new distributor and egr value is what it took for me to be running normally. By the way, Chysler used 2 different diameters of distrib. In the 1st gen. 'Brings. You can call any dealer, give the vin# and they can tell you which you have ( I had the smaller dia. Which was slightly more expensive.)
