Windnoise fix for 2002 Dodge Ram

2002 Ram 1500 Quad Cab with 4.7L, auto, 48000 miles. Driver and passenger door window frames vibrate enough to pull away from the weather seal and create a good deal of wind noise in the cab. Heavy cross winds create the same problem. I loosened the latch mechanism (on the door) thinking I could adjust the door to close tighter however the mechanism doesn't appear to have any adjustment.

While driving I can pull the upper frame in very slightly with my fingers and stop the noise.

Any thoughts on an effective repair?

Thanks, Rich

A local body shop could probably adjust the whole door on its hinges to solve your problem.

You could do it yourself with the help of somone. Wind window down, open the door have someone hold a pieceof 2x4 or 4x4 wood between door and body of the truck just above the lock mechanism firmly. Then you push the top of the door with enough force by hand where the wind is coming in when you drive until it bends just a little bit. Take the wood out, close door check gap, if not enough do it again and push a little harder.I had the same proplem with a chevy truck. Or you could go to a vbody shop and pay.
