96Chrysler LHS

I have A 96 Chrysler LHS with a 3.5 engin 150000 miles.The car started to over heat,The water was coming out the overflow.I replaced the thermostat and the car still over heats.What could it be?

i am new to this site so i haven't yet found how to navigate to the answers,just need to know if anyone has shed light on the subject so that i could benefit as well(chrysler lhs "96"model 3.5)...im thinking mabe the water pump,i changed my thermostat as well to no avail,also can turn on heater and will blow much cooler than chosen setting........thanks

I would say the water pump,these car are known for the pump seizing up on them.
