From behind is a locking ring that comes off by unscrewing it. Then the socket with the small halogen lamp comes out, the replacement has a new socket. The connector has a plastic locking clip you must pull up to take the connector off. The lens is a lifetime unit that needs to be adjusted with a professional beam adjuster if removed. But taking the plastic body trim off first(torx screws T-20) gives you access to the lens mounting to replace just the lens.
