I know that the head gasket is blown on my 1994 lebaron due to the color of the oil. How do I know if the block is cracked and if its not is it worth the fix seeing as it is in mint shape despite the head gasket blown? It starts no problem but alot of exhaust smoke is coming out of the exhaust, its thick white smoke. Is it best to do a pressure test on the block to see if its cracked?

Only way to tell for sure is have it magnafluxed (pressure test it) to see if dye shows up any cracks. As far as wether or not to pay out for repairs that is really your choice. You can check out kbb. Com to see what the value is of the car though
