Remove the alternator

1990 plymouth grand voyager 205,912 mi v6 I have disconnected the alternator wiring and disconnected the alternator from the mount but can not get the alternator out from the top [mountting braket in the way] or out from the bottom [exhaust in the way] how do I get it out??

It can be done from the top but you have to remove the bracket, yes it is tedious and time consuming. But ive done it three times. Twice from the top and once from the bottom. The one time that I did it from the bottom, I had it on a lift and did not have to remove the exhaust. Mine is a 3.3. I think a 3.0 might be a little easier though. Good luck
