I have a 1997 chrysler cirrus. The control for heater/ac only works on high. About a week after this happened, the heater started throwing out warm air for about 15 seconds and then cold air. Could the 2 be related and what could possibly be the problem?

One problem might be your heater/air conditioner control assembly to test it use a ohm meter. First remove the module thenmeasure the resistance between the terminals 5 and 8 turn the control module to each position and check resistance as follows panel 828 to 856 ohms, bilevel 1280 to 1300 ohms, floor 2300 to 2358 ohms mix 5200 to 5300 ohms defrost 99 to 100 K ohms. If any are not correct then replace also look for a loose wire or connector
