My vehicle makes a chirping sound when I get to about 15 MPH. Gradually gets louder as I hit the gas. When I let off the gas it goes away, until I hit the gas again. It does not do it if I have it is in park and rev it up. I took the belt off and started it and it ran good and quite. Replaced belt and tensioner pulley. No change. The ABS light came on, along with the TC and downhill descent lights (the 3 amigos). Waiting for my appointment to get ABS tested. Check engine comes on every once and a while with an emissions code.

When you removed the belt did you drive the vehicle above 15 MPH and confirm the noise is gone? If not, let's drive the vehicle with it off and see if it still does this. You will be fine to drive for a little while on just the battery so you should be able to make it around the block just to confirm this.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

Clearly it sounds like a drive belt related issue but it could be drivetrain related so we need to start cross things off the list.

Let's run through this and let me know what turns up. Thanks
