Sometimes when you stat the van it idles fast but if you shut it off and start it a few more times it will idle fine. What is causing this

Hello, it could be almost anything. Maybe the throttle valve isn't closing like it should, accelerator linkage might be hanging. Check the throttle position sensor. Are there any codes?

Maybe the computer is raising the idle for some reason.
